What is it that keeps you up at night? Is it effectively telling stories through design, video, photography, and writing? If so, you should consider applying for the H. E. Butt Foundation Communications Internship.

The Foundation Communications team serves as an internal agency for every program's communication needs from the parent organization to Outdoor School, LLYC, Laity Lodge, LLFC, and H. E. Butt Foundation Camp. In this internship, you will have the opportunity to work closely with communications experts, journalists working in the field, and experienced photograhers and videographers capturing awe-inspiring moments from the Canyon.

  • Work in tandem with and support the communications team as they create conceptual design, messaging, and stylistic direction of public-facing and employee-facing communication projects across the organization.
  • Support and assist the communications team to produce various engaging content for print and web.
  • It is required that you have a degree in communications or a related field of study. Experience with brand strategy is preferred.
  • Please be prepared to show examples from your portfolio.
